What is Tracy’s story?

Tracy’s story began in the world of business as she grew up in a family of small business entrepreneurs. Tracy followed in those footsteps and received a MBA from Thunderbird in Glendale, Arizona. She has worked in Fortune 500 companies, private companies, and been an independent business consultant and owner.

Prior to coming the University of Iowa, Tracy was the General Manager of a golf course and clubhouse for 14 years. In this capacity she was charged with all facets of operations, completed a total renovation of the clubhouse, and managed over 100 events each year.

During her time at the University of Iowa, Tracy worked with the Dean’s Office at the Tippie College of Business as the Special Events Coordinator. She now teaches in the Event Management Certificate program and is thrilled to continue to share her passion of event management with college students.
