Fools Magazine

Fools Magazine is a semiannual print magazine founded by UI alum Mary Mathis in 2016. The Iowa City-based publication focuses on literature, food, and culture, and is a collaborative effort with many creatives. Learn more about submitting work to Fools Magazine.

Online News Association

The Online News Association (ONA) is the world's largest association of digital journalists. The group focuses on interactive and emerging media for journalists, non-fiction storytellers, and information designers. 

Ed on Campus

Ed on Campus is a college chapter of Ed2010, a group that brings together magazine journalists who are looking to score their dream job in magazines and publishing. 

Kappa Tau Alpha

Kappa Tau Alpha is a college honor society that recognizes academic excellence and promotes scholarship in journalism and mass communication.

National Association of Black Journalists

The National Association of Black Journalists; The University of Iowa chapter was cited as one of the top three student chapters in the nation.
