Jake Mayer is the Student Success and Engagement Coordinator for the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. They attended the University of Iowa and double-majored in Journalism and Mass Communication and Cinema.

Jake organizes and supervises the daily operations of the school’s Student Center, manages the peer mentors and lab monitors, and provides marketing, communication and event support for the school. Mayer writes news and other content for the school’s website and manages the social media accounts along with a staff of undergraduate students that they supervise.
