What is David's story?

David Lomoywara is a PhD student in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. He holds a BA in Journalism and an MA in Communication Studies from the United States International University (USIU-Africa).

His area of interest is health communication, and he looks at health misinformation, news literacy, the role of media in health promotion, and stigma due to neglected diseases in Africa.

Furthermore, he uses a qualitative approach to examine how social media spreads health misinformation in the Global South.
